Presenter Bio
Duane is a member of the Gitanmaax nation of Old Hazelton, and proud father to Caleb, Cooper, and Jamie, and 27 year partner to Christine. Duane received his certification in Early Childhood Educator through the Native Education College and has been using that understanding to advocate for children and families, work with understandings of men’s wellness, and support frontline resource workers engaging vulnerable demographics. Duane received his Provincial Instructors Diploma from Vancouver Community College and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Leadership at Royal Roads University.
