With funds generously provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, the Prince George Native Friendship Centre is hosting two days of professional development on April 23 and 24, 2024 at the Prince George Native Friendship Center on the ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh Nation

This year, the Northern Aboriginal Early Childhood Development Training Conference is pleased to announce our guest presenter, Dr. Deborah MacNamara. Dr MacNamara will be covering a variety of topics, such as childhood challenges with anxiety, attention, resistance, frustration, aggression, attachment and listening. Dr MacNamara will also discuss childhood emotional development and well-being, as well as the roots of resilience and why relationships matter. She will also be speaking on the implications of raising children in a digital world.
